Jamie King - Founder and Managing Director
MK Founder Jamie King brings over a decade of high-level hospitality management experience, specialising in food and beverage operations, concept development, and financial performance.
Before establishing MK, Jamie served as Group Food & Beverage Operations Manager at Cliste Hospitality, where he played a pivotal role in setting F&B standards, developing concepts, and driving profitability across 12 properties. He was instrumental in the launch and development of high-profile venues, including Dublin One Hotel and The Big Tree Pub, ensuring consistent quality, innovation, and operational excellence.
Jamie’s career includes leadership roles at prestigious venues such as Radisson Blu Galway, Radisson Blu Limerick, Lemon & Duke in Dublin, and The Quays Bar & Music Hall in Galway. He was part of award-winning teams recognised at the Irish Bar of the Year Awards, securing titles like Late-Night Venue of the Year and Bar Food of the Year—a testament to his commitment to excellence in hospitality.
In addition to hands-on industry experience, Jamie holds qualifications in Revenue Management, Conflict Management, Project Management, and Learning & Development. His expertise ensures that MK Hospitality delivers industry-leading standards, providing clients with tailored strategies to enhance operations, profitability, and guest experience.
